OWNER AND CHIROPRACTOR
Dr. Ashley Jones is honored to provide gentle, effective chiropractic care for Trenton, Jones County, and the surrounding areas. Having grown up receiving chiropractic care
Dr. Jones has studied and received Advanced Proficiency training in the Activator Methods adjusting technique, a gentle, low force technique that can be used on patients of all ages. The Activator Method is one of the most widely researched chiropractic techniques, with numerous clinical trials to support its efficacy. The Activator Method chiropractic technique uses a spring-loaded, hand-held mechanical instrument called the Activator adjusting instrument. This instrument allows chiropractors to provide a quick, low-force impulse at specific points. There are two major advantages of an Activator instrument treatment:
- High speed. The instrument is so quick that the body's muscles are less likely to tense in response and resist the treatment. The lack of muscle resistance helps facilitate the treatment’s effectiveness.
- Controlled force. The applied force is localized and does not put the joint in any compromised positions that could cause more pain or dysfunction.
We also offer low-level laser therapy-a non-invasive, side-effect-free technology which can offer additional pain relief, speed up tissue healing, and increase tissue strength in injured areas, in addition to stimulating the immune and nervous system, promoting healing, and reducing inflammation. This form of treatment has been used for nearly 50 years and is FDA cleared. Dr. Jones is a certified medical examiner, providing affordable DOT physicals for truck drivers and bus drivers. Appointments are typically available the same day or the next day.
A native of New Bern, Dr. Jones is now a proud Jones County resident. She is married to her husband Tyler, and when she is not in the office she is busy being mom to their rambunctious 1 year old, Amelia. She is a member of Trenton EMS, and is active in the local chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Her and her family attend Temple Church in New Bern.
